About Ellie
Ellie Glorioso is an American cellist based in Cleveland, Ohio. As a skilled pedagogue and performer Ellie has served on the faculty of the Cleveland Institute of Music, The Music Settlement, and Notre Dame College. In 2022 Ellie founded The Cello Collective, a music studio located in the Larchmere neighborhood of Cleveland, and through this studio teaches over 30 cellists weekly. Cellists who study with Ellie perform in many notable youth symphonies including Contemporary Youth Orchestra, Cleveland Pops Youth Orchestra, and Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Ellie is a proud founding member of the Cleveland Music Exchange, a program that connects skilled teachers with developing global music communities. Through CME, Ellie has partnered with music programs in both Harare, Zimbabwe and Chihuahua, Mexico, teaching lessons to over 100 students and playing concerts for over 2000 audience members.

An avid performer, Ellie has played and recorded with pop musicians such as The Eagles, Madeline Finn, and Lauren Lanzaretta, performed at the Grog Shop, Severance Hall, Playhouse Square, The Cleveland Art Museum’s gallery series, and Larchmere PorchFest. In 2023 Ellie performed the Ohio premier performance of Anna Clyne's DANCE with Cleveland Repertory Orchestra.

In their time away from music Ellie enjoys working in their garden, testing knitting patterns, and walking their dogs Ansel and River.
